The 22nd anniversary of the country’s longest running and most popular half distance will be staged at Saturday 8 January.

The Port of Tauranga Half is within reach of everyone – with some of the world’s best lining up alongside keen age groupers, first times and the weekend fitness fans who can participant in teams.
Past competitors include world champions Craig Alexander, Rebeakah Keat and a whose who of NZ triathlon elite who line up every year in support of this race including Cameron Brown, Jo Lawn, Samantha Warriner, Kieran Doe and the new crop of young guys including James Bowstead, Jamie Whyte and 2011 surprize winner Michael Poole.
